How do you access housing wealth

The amount you can release is based on your age(s), health and property value.

Your Private Client Adviser will be able to answer any questions you may have and will deliver a tailored service based on your individual financial goals and targets.  There is absolutely no time pressure – our priority is to ensure you receive the best possible advice.

Your Private Client Adviser will ensure you fully understand everything you need to know about accessing your housing wealth, enabling you to weigh up all the advantages and disadvantages of each type of plan.  If a more financially beneficial option is available, you will be informed.

This is all part of the Bower Private Client service.

Should you decide to proceed, your Private Client Adviser will, if you wish, work alongside your existing accountant, solicitor or any other professional associate to ensure a smooth and hassle-free transaction, with access to the best deals available from across the market.

How accessing property wealth can benefit you.

By becoming a Bower Private Client we can assist in releasing some of the value held in your property in the form of tax-free funds, paid to you with or without the need  for monthly repayments.  Whatever your aspirations your Private Client Adviser can adapt their advice and services to create the personalised experience our clients have come to expect.

You can use the money released from your property for any legal purpose.

Our process

Your dedicated Private Client Adviser will support you every step of the way and will always be on hand to answer any queries you may have.

Arranging your first appointment

One of our dedicated team will arrange a face to face appointment  with a specialist Private Client Adviser.

Your first appointment is free of charge and in the comfort of your own home

Your Private Client Adviser will explain each option available while learning more about your individual needs.  They will present any advantages and disadvantages of the plans available and explain everything you need to consider as well as fully outlining the fees and costs involved.

Think things over

There is never any rush so you have plenty of time to consult with family, friends or professional advisers.  You are encouraged to invite them along to your appointments if you wish.

Your second appointment

If you are happy with everything discussed your adviser will present a full recommendation as to the best option for you personally – whether that includes Equity Release or not.

Choose a solicitor

Once you are happy with your plan your adviser will arrange the necessary paperwork and present a panel of specialist solicitors for you to choose, if you do not wish to use your own, to assist with the legal matters.

It normally takes around six to eight weeks to produce a formal offer then complete the legal formalities (often less).  The money is paid to you, minus fees and costs, by your solicitor.
